On Monday, June 9th, twelve individuals were officially elected into the CR Council.
Meet your new CR Council, and learn about their various skill sets and experiences. Let us know what you think: are you excited for the future of CR?
Michael S. is a Houston, Texas, native with an undying passion for Elastos. Michael has been a moderator for almost two years and has contributed in social media and outreach in his spare time. He exhibits the enthusiasm and spirit that a CRC member should have. Read previous interviews with CR Press and CR Herald about his CRC candidacy.
Su Yipeng is the original architect of the CRC. He wrote the whitepaper and dissected the mechanics of the elections and how CRC and the community operates through proposals. Su Yipeng was selected as one of three temporary Council members before CRC elections, and is a welcome addition to the CRC because of his long experience.
Ela Cloud, represented by four members, was interviewed by CR Herald.
Ela Cloud wants to promote the proper handling of the 16.5 million tokens of CR, further development, and perfect the governance structure. The team’s ultimate goal is to continuously grow the number of real users and work together with community members to proactively invest in large business ecology projects.
Sunny Feng Han is one of the original founders of the Elastos project. Sunny holds the #1 DPoS node and donates all Supernode rewards to the community. He interviewed with CR Press in early June. Sunny’s extensive connections and enthusiasm gives the CRC significant value.
TI is a long-time Elastos Community Manager, tech specialist, founder of ELA News, and team leader at Elastos.info. His knowledge of the Elastos project is top notch. The community has grown to love his personality along with his active and consistent participation.
Alex Shipp is a young candidate who’s already made a big splash in the Elastos ecosystem. Alex served as one of the three temporary council members before CRC was elected. Alex wrote a book called, “The Era of Quantum Wealth”, in collaboration with Sunny Feng Han. He’s also published an in-depth Elastos Tokenomics medium article and he adds a unique perspective in several areas.
Full-time developer, Adem Bilican, is passionate about Elastos. He is close to unveiling the new ELAbox, a device for creating your own node for storage and ownership of personal data on elastOS. Adem interviewed with CR Press in February. His coding skills and advanced degrees will help the CRC in a variety of ways.
The Strawberry Council is led by 4 Elastos enthusiasts- Vegas Mike, Big Kahuna, First Class, and Mark Blair. Their team originates from a Supernode group holding three of the top twelve positions. Their website brings e-commerce to Elastos merchandise along with endless resources. The team interviewed with CR Herald in regards to their CRC Candidacy. Their blend of business savvy, technical skills, creativity, and crypto know-how gives the Strawberry Council a strong voice.
Tyro Lee is the original founder of the English and Chinese Elastos Telegram groups. He plays a big role in the Chinese community. He runs a stand-by DPoS Supernode. Tyro is a true original Elastos supporter with an unprecedented passion for the project.
ElastosDMA is a team that utilizes the DMA infrastructure to build dApps. The team has already developed a ticketing dApp called, “Uptick”, and a merchandising dApp called, “Choosit”. Their latest project is “GreenPass”. GreenPass is a dApp that tracks your health while giving privacy and ownership of user data, especially in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. Led by Brian Xin, DMA is one of the original Elastos developer groups that continues to pave multiple paths in the evolving Elastos ecosystem.
Orchard Trinity is a European contingent made up of three community members: Chris, Jochem, and Sash. They’ve a diverse background in education, military, and business. Their connections and skillsets will spur future relationships within the European space. The group did an interview with CR Press about their candidacy and have released an informative video with several interesting topics
The Chinese Community Moderator team was interviewed in an article by the CR Herald a few months ago. The Chinese Moderator team dedicates a lot of time fueling the Chinese Elastos community. Hu Ge, Roulan, Lao Gambu, and Witzer are the five members holding the CRC seat. The group plans on expanding community activities and incentivization programs.
