Hyper Messenger, the chat dApp built using the Elastos Carrier, has a new Suggestion up for voting. Since technical milestones thus far have been met, Hyper Messenger is ready to be marketed for rapid increase in their user base.

About Hyper Messenger

Hyper Messenger is a peer-to-peer chat dApp with no middle man and end-to-end encryption. In a world currently filled with privacy concerns (WeChat Surveillance), government movements to legalize exposure of personal data (US Lawful Access to Encrypted Data Act Bill Introduced), infringements on human rights and political overreach (Hong Kong Protestor Arrests through Telegram), this dApp is especially necessary.

On Hyper, data is only stored on the sender and receiver’s device.

Hyper Messenger should be first considered a messenger that is secure, with a default preference towards more privacy rather than data preservation. Currently, these privacy features create sticking points for new users such as deletion of all messages and contacts immediately upon uninstall (which is arguably a privacy feature), and online messaging only (until Hive++).

This new Suggestion offers development that would overcome several of these sticking points, some of which is reliant on Elastos development milestones, and a focused marketing plan to acquire new users.

Hyper’s Messenger dApp provides a simplified entry into Elastos for new users, guiding users step-by-step into each component of the ecosystem without being overwhelmed. All components of Hyper Messenger and Elastos integration is open source on github.

There have been 10,000 downloads of Hyper Messenger thus far, and the goal is to grow to 20,000 users by the end of August, and 80,000 users by the end of 2020.
